Clara Guatta-Cescuni
About
Clara Guatta-Cescuni is a bilingual Argentine-American singer-songwriter, composer, and music educator whose work bridges the rich musical traditions of Buenos Aires and the expansive possibilities of contemporary global sound. Born in Argentina and now based in the Berkshires, she brings to every performance a voice shaped by two continents and a musical language that moves fluidly between tango, Latin pop, bossa nova, salsa, cumbia, and English indie pop.
Her original catalog spans moods and traditions, from the introspective poetry of Argentine folklore to the rhythmic pulse of cumbia and the intimacy of bossa nova, always anchored by her signature vocal presence and bilingual storytelling.
As an educator, Guatta-Cescuni has brought music and the arts to students from kindergarten through eighth grade at institutions including Art Omi International Arts Center and St. Stanislaus Kostka School. Her teaching is rooted in the same belief that drives her artistry: that music is, as art, a vehicle for healing, connection, and crossing cultural borders.
Guatta-Cescuni is a merit grant recipient at Berklee College of Music, where she will continue her education in Fall 2026, the next step toward her goal of composing for film, television, and video games. She has studied voice since 2017 and performs on both voice and classical guitar, carrying the living tradition of Argentine music and a vision for where it can go next.
