Mark Ludwig is Founding Director of Terezín Music Foundation (terezinmusic.org) and a member of the Pamatník Terezín Advisory Board. A Fulbright scholar of the Terezín composers and art, Mr. Ludwig has authored essays, the nationally adopted Holocaust curriculum Finding A Voice, and most recently, the critically acclaimed book Our Will To Live: The Terezín Music Critiques of Viktor Ullmann (Steidl Verlag 2022). He produces recordings, concerts and Holocaust and genocide education programs worldwide. Ludwig is a violist emeritus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, adjunct professor of Holocaust music at the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies at Boston University, and editor of the poetry anthology Liberation (Beacon Press 2015).
