Library Program Application Instructions

Applications for the Library Program are now closed.
Requirements
- Online application must be completed by Tuesday, January 6 at 11:59PM Eastern.
- Applicants to the Tanglewood Music Center must be at least 18 years old as of June 26, 2026.
- Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the 2026 TMC residency from June 26 to August 17.
- Applicants to the Tanglewood Music Center must submit an application, including a $75 application fee, via Acceptd.
- Applicants experiencing any hardship that they feel renders them unable to pay the application fee are to fill out this form to receive an application fee waiver.
Application
Applicants for the Library Program must submit:
- A completed online application form
- A completed TMC Library Test (see information below)
- A current resume
- One letter of recommendation from a supervisor
Library Skills Test
All applicants must complete a test in library skills. The 2026 TMC Library Test is available for download here. Applicants should complete this test and upload their answers, along with the application and all supplemental materials, by the application deadline.
Live Interview
Based on the results of the test, finalists will be contacted for video interviews, to be conducted remotely on Zoom on January 12 – 13, 2026.
