Award-winning American composer Laurie Anderson is known for her daring, outside-the-box works of art that combine disparate forms of media and ask audiences to feel, listen, think, and experience the music more deeply. This concert presents two of her new works: Amelia features text from Amelia Earhart’s pilot’s log from her last trip around the world, and the world premiere of What War Is This?, a series of short stories about the celebration of the Declaration of Independence.
