The Etudes are Philip Glass’ most personal body of work – a self-portrait of a life’s practice, representing some of the most intimate and inventive music of his oeuvre. 20 piano etudes in their entirety are performed by five featured pianists, each bringing their own unique approach to their instrument and to Glass’ singular work.
